Garbage/Yard Waste/Recycling

Deposits will be refunded after 24 months to customers who established a “Good Credit History”. Refunds will be applied as a credit to customer’s account.

• Pick-up every Monday and Thursday.
• Place your trash carts curbside by 6:00 a.m. of your scheduled garbage collection day.
• All household waste must be containerized in the cart provided by Waste Management and placed at the curbside. Household waste should not be mixed in the same container as yard trash.
• No pick-up holidays include Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day. When your collection day falls on/or after a holiday, your collection service will be delayed by one day for the remainder of the week.

• Pickup every other week on Friday starting June 7.
• Recycled materials are materials that are capable of being recycled, and which would otherwise be processed or disposed of as household waste. The materials designated by the Town as recyclable material include aluminum cans and foil, steel cans, plastics #1 through #7, glass (clear, brown and green), newspaper and inserts, cardboard (cut down 2′ x 2′ and flattened), magazines, phonebooks, Kraft paper bags, fiberboard, junk mail, office paper and miscellaneous paper.
• Recyclable materials do not need to be sorted and must be placed in recycling cart.
• No pick-up holidays include Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day. When your collection day falls on/or after a holiday, your collection service will be delayed by one day for the remainder of the week.

• Pick-up every Tuesday or Wednesday. Refer to the map below for your new collection day.
• Leaves and grass clippings MUST be containerized in a resident provided container or a plastic or brown paper bag.
• Loose yard waste piles including tree trucks, stumps, and limbs shall not exceed five (5) feet in length and six (6) inches in diameter.
• Yard waste is limited to 5 cubic yards (4′ x 4′ x 8′) per service day.
• Yard waste should not be placed in the same container as household waste.
• No pick-up holidays include Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. When your collection day falls on/or after a holiday, your collection service will be delayed by one day for the remainder of the week.

• One time per month pickup – includes appliances and items too large to handle with regular garbage collection.
• Acceptable items weighing greater than 50 lbs. include but not limited to: tires, furniture, appliances, water heaters, and small air conditioning units.
• Call Waste Management at (904) 695-0500 to schedule pickup at no additional charge.
• WM will collect up to five (5) cubic yards of bulk waste each month.
• Please note, there will be an additional charge for anything above five (5) cubic yards or collection service more than one time per month.
